Whether your stay is short or a bit more leisurely the Eden Valley and surrounding area offers a variety of activities.

The Northern Pennines (an area of outstanding natural beauty), Hadrians Wall, The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are all just a short drive away, whilst nearer home there are beautiful walks, castles, grand houses, outstanding gardens and many other places to visit.
